A circular Böttger stoneware commemorative medal produced by the Meissen porcelain manufactory. The obverse features a relief depiction of the Rotes Rathaus (Red City Hall) in Berlin. The reverse is inscribed 'BERLIN HAUPTSTADT DER DEUTSCHEN DEMOKRATISCHEN REPUBLIK' with the crossed swords mark. Housed in a red presentation case with a yellow velvet-lined interior and the Meissen logo on the lid.
